With a special view to interpreting 1 Corinthians 8:6, a passage that many (Warfield, Fee, Bauckham, et al.) see as as the primary passage for determining Paul’s Christology, we will look at the witness of 1 Corinthians, one of the earliest of Paul’s writings and of the New Testament generally, to the absolute, unabridged deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, contrary to the arguments advanced by anti-Trinitarians.

Some attention will also be given to the consistency of Paul’s teaching in 1 Corinthians (and the Pauline Corpus) with that of the other apostles and/or authors of the New Testament over against liberal-critical theories.”
