Picnics have been suspended for the summer. They will resume when the weather cools In I Timothy, we see Paul urging us as believers to see that "... supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, godly and respectful in every way." Our newly formed "Women in Prayer" group is doing just that. Once a week on Monday from 11:30-12:30 a small group of women meet and pray for our church and its needs. Jeanne Ingland leads this group and we would love to have you join us. Please call the church office at 384-3437 for location. Please join us for our current Sunday School Series. Mark Russell is teaching on Church History in Room 200 and an all-star cast is teaching on Spiritual Disciplines behind the auditorium..Ladies, please join us for our book study, Through His Eyes: God's Perspective of Women in the Bible by Jerram Barrs. We meet on Wednesday morning at the church office and Wednesday evening at Robin Wolden's home. Call the church office at 384-3437 for directions. Regularly Scheduled Events Check out our Community Groups which meet the first and third Sunday of every month. Growing in Grace and Youth Group do not meet on these days. Youth Group (5:00 p.m.— Jr. & Sr. High students) and Growing in Grace (6:00 p.m.—College and Career age singles) meet on the 2nd, 4th and (if there is one) 5th Sundays of every month. We have an outreach at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission on the third Saturday of every month at 4:30 p.m. If you are interested in joining us, please see Brittany Perlstein for requirements.
