The goal of the Men’s Group is to provide a comfortable and inviting environment for men of the church to relax and build relationships. Much can be gained from building deeper relationships amongst men in the church. With the demanding schedules so many men cope with, the Men’s Group gatherings provide such an opportunity. Recent events have included ‘Pub Night’ and ‘Mexican Fiesta’. Any man, regardless of whether they are a member of Spring Meadows Church, is welcome to participate in a Men’s Group gathering. Kyle Thomas currently serves as the Men’s Ministry leader. Kyle has been with Spring Meadows Church for about a year and currently works as a banquet server. What is your favorite book/passage of the Bible? Judges 3:31 “And after him was Shamgar the son of Anath, which slew of the Philistines six hundred men with an ox goad: and he also delivered Israel.” What is the most exciting thing about your position with SMPC? I feel Like God is using me for something again…or I guess I am finally listening to what He is asking me to do, and it is most excellent. |
