Community Groups

God’s people assemble weekly to worship the Lord corporately, which is what we do at Church.  On a smaller scale, Christians gather together into similar worshiping communities for song, study, sharing, prayer and mercy.  To this end Spring Meadows supports several community groups around the city to develop a Christian community where Jesus Christ is experienced in his presence and power.  All community groups are under the authority and care of the Session of Spring Meadows.  The purpose of community groups at Spring Meadows Presbyterian Church is to support the church in it’s work of the great commission by helping Christians discover and exercise their gifts and callings.  This takes the form of a small home gathering where Christ is worshiped, Christians are trained for ministry, and the kingdom of God is prayed for.
